In order to recap what had happened to me since the commence of my Semester 3 in IMU, here are a few photos to share with you people.

CVS and Respi Notes

CVS and Respi Notes

MANAGED to revise the cardiovascular and respiratory systems notes (9 weeks worth of notes) in 3 weeks time for my Summative One, which I was quite proud of myself. Despite not having study break, I was actually able to finish reading the papers in time. As you know, I am not a fan of physio, anatomy or what-not medical books, so I rely solely on these papers. In fact, this (don’t know good or bad) habit had started since my A-Levels study life. I actually felt guilty. Books were bought just because of peer pressure and to decorate my study table, so that it looked more… well…  “medical-student-like”. But now, I don’t really care anymore.

So yeah, my Summative One was finally over two days ago and I am entering haematology next week. The next major headache will be Summative Two which consists of haematology and gastrointestinal Systems, adding up another 10 weeks worth of notes. And the migraine will be EOS 3 which consists of all 4 systems, a total of 19 weeks worth of notes. During the study break, there will be rotation posting which reduces the already-short revision time. Still scratching my head as to figure out how to finish the mountains of notes in 4-weeks time then. Any idea, anyone?

After the Summative, we went to Jogoya to have our supper buffet. There were 30++ of us actually (10++ from IMU and another 10++ from Universiti Malaya.

This is the group photo.

So, semester has been fruitful after all, hasn’t it? Went to Dato Keramat Clinic visit during my cardiovascular weeks. And from the haemato timetable, it seems that I am heading to a blood bank in the second week. Do hope that it won’t involve any report writing, but looking at the past trend and pattern, the chances are utmost slim.

Random Photos Taken during Semester 2 Break

August 30, 2009

Most of these photos were taken while I was on the way to savour Terengganu local delicacies at the beach. Yeap, you got it right… Keropok, fried stingrays, squids, crabs and all sorts of imaginable seafood. :) The food back in Terengganu was not only cheap, but also freaking finger-licking-good. A fried stingray for RM2?!!! Where else can you find that? You can practically eat as you like till you get postpandrial seafood phobia.

I don’t remember seeing anybody there when I was taking this picture. Weird right? And don’t you think that the position and angle where it stood was quite odd? That’s what happened when you take photos of random empty places without any purpose. Creepy creepy Krispy Kreme.
